Molescroft Farm Children's Nursery, Beverley

Project summary

Our Client is a creative farming family strong in delivering diversification at their farm in East Yorkshire.

The first Nursery building opened in 2017 to our design which utilised relaxation of the planning system to allow change of use - with significant extensions - of a redundant blockwork cart shed.

The Nursery expanded provision in 2021 opening a second building to our new-build design which continued the principles of simple rural form and material quality established with the first nursery.

The success of the project is two buildings which compliment he Nursery ethos of being at one with nature and the outdoors.
