Mercia House

Project details

51 South Bar (Mercia House) Banbury is a Grade II listed building. Walker Graham Architects were appointed to work with a local developer to design proposals for a change of use from offices to luxury 1 and 2 bedroom apartments - all with associated parking.

The proposals were developed to minimise disruption to the existing building and using as much of the existing layout as possible, particularly to the front period section of the property – to safeguard the existing architectural character and listed qualities of the building.

The completed development provided 11 apartments in the heart of Banbury Town Centre.
